Wow! the lighting is amazing! Everytime I’ve been to this place, the sun has been behind the falls, throwing everything into shadow. Of course, I was also having to dodge a lot of other visitors.

  • Albert Dickson replied

Yes you have to go at sun rise for the best light. The tourists should not be a problem because the trail to the base of the falls is closed and has been for several years. You have to hike in cross country and then bush wack your way to the falls. The trail does still go to the upper lookout but you can only see the very top of the falls from there. Thanks for the kind words.
