This is a large metal part of the saw mill- there was two of them both eaqually warn and covered with years of build up- these mill still runs for the public in the summer months.

Historic Wood’s Grist Mill/Saw mill – originally built in 1838 by John Wood as a wood frame structure. It was later rebuilt of brick in 1876 by Nathan Wood, John’s son, as a custom flouring mill- this was lake County’s first successful industry.
