So we were just sitting around in a Sydney caravan park at the end of our 2 week trip before we headed back to Brisbane. I still had 2 frames left on a roll of Velvia which I wanted to shoot before we flew, so I could put the exposed roll in a lead/x-ray resistant bag. I just needed to burn some frames really, so I looked up and saw these awesome looking branches across an overcast sky. Played with it in photoshop to mirror the branches on all sides and ended up with something different that I quite like. It pays to try different things sometimes doesn’t it?
How often do you look up?
Shot on Velvia 50 with a Mamiya RB67 and 50mm C lens. Or maybe it was the 127mm, I don’t even know!
