I think this may be my new favourite local location of 2011, and yet it’s still only April at the time of writing this. Taken at Point Arkwright on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, February 2011.

Shot with a Canon 7D, 10-22mm lens, B+W polariser and Lee grad filters.

Shutter: 30 seconds
Aperture: f/8
ISO: 100

A fantastic location and wonderful light.

  • Cheers Dave, was a magic morning – this was about 25 – 30 minutes priot to sunrise (a particularly bright morning) and the colour disappeared soon after this image unfortunately.

Jason I admire your work. The combination of the still and moving water, the texture of the rock and then the colours all combine superbly. A well thought out and executed picture. A favourite for sure.

  • Thanks mate for the awesome comment, much appreciated :D
