lovely picture Jason, I honestly can’t remember seeing the sun so beautiful (in reality), so I am really happy just by looking at this image :) * still dreaming of summer I guess *

in July will be great I’m sure, but until then heh, extreme sports, and you’re most welcome Jason.

PS: I saw that you used the Canon 300v, cool, so you finally got one ? :D

  • Yeah mate, a few of my latest images have been with velvia :) Only thing about this body is that I can’t change the metering mode from center-weighted average when in M, really quite annoying, so looking for a better body already. (300v only cost me $15, no big loss!)

yeah it’s a pretty basic model, that’s why it is so cheap :) you need a more advanced film camera for that :)

  • Yeah I figure this now.. I just found it odd not being able to change it.. the modes are there for other functions, just not M, there’s no technical reason at all why they wouldn’t have been able to have it selectable in all modes – it’s just them being silly and purposely scaling down the usability in favour of pricier models, despite it not actually costing anything. After a 1n or a 30v now, which will be sufficient.
