The water in the foreground is pretty clear, nice work.

  • Cheers Derek, always appreciated. Was surprising to find such vivid colour in the water that morning. Happy with this shot considering the ridiculously precarious position I had to get myself into to shoot it. Thanks mate.

I think I can see little fish?? amazingly clear isn’t it, lovely image Jason :o)

  • Indeed you can see little fish :) I was trying to find the optimal shutterspeed for having some water movement and not having the fish ghost too much, then trying to get the timing right for waves and fish at the same time :D Glad you like it Josie.

This is very cool, don’t think that I have seen drifting water and see through at the same time, looks great.

  • Thanks Ken. Yeah I thought the same thing mate, kind of stumbled across this little section by accident. Just enough of a outcrop there to keep the foreground pool relatively still and clear, yet still having some cascading waves over the midground rocks. Definitely got lucky with the tide that morning. Thanks mate!
