Sunset at Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast Australia. Had some fun timing some waves and getting wet, all the good stuff.

Shot in June 2010 with a Canon 7D, 10-22mm lens and Lee GND filters. Processed in Photoshop CS5.

The more we try the better the chance of winning one. BTW, I’ve got a problem with my 7D. The pop up flash won’t work since I attached an external flash. I’ve spoken to the guy at the shop but they can’t fix it in time for my holiday in the US so I have to wait till I get back. Bummer! I tend to use that quite a bit as fill flash too. Lucky I’ve also got the 550D!!

  • Ah that’s a shame, mine has worked fine after using the twin lite attached.. actually, I don’t know if I HAVE used it since I used my twin lite but I’ll give it a go. At least its under warranty so it can be repaired :) A shame you can’t use the 7D for US trip though, major bummer.

Oh, don’t worry. Still taking the 7D on trip with me. Everything else works well. I can put it in for repair when I come back as it will still be under warranty. I won’t be going without it, that’s for sure. BTW, I don’t know if you’re aware of it, but I’m selling the Canon 100-400IS L lens. Too heavy for me now as I have arthritis and Fybromyalgia. It’s less than a year old and in as new condition. If you know anyone who is interested please let me know via Bubble Mail.:)

  • Of course it’ll still acompany you :) As for the 100-400, I’ve actually wanted this lens myself for quite a long time, but I’m not sure when I can (or should rather) spare the cash for it. I’ll let you know if I know of anyone else interested in the mean time, though :) Around about how much were you wanting for it?
