Serenity by Jason Asher

Another shot of Burrajum Falls from a different pov. I like this shot more with the rocks in the foreground.

Shot on the 10th of October 2009 at Lamington National Park (Binna Burra section) on the Gold Coast QLD, with a Canon 450d and a 17-40 f/4L at 17mm. 1 RAW processed in Photoshop CS4.

Shutter: 8 seconds
Aperture: f/11

Graet shot! the leaves give a nice feeling here

  • Thanks Dinni, I found it distracting at the time and I wasn’t sure, but it made a nice effect with the longer exposure.

Absolutely love this! Perfect composition me thinks and the colours are so vibrant, the swirling leaves are fantastic and the reflection of the waterfall! Also love the rainforest at the top of the frame. Definitely more interesting than mine :P

  • Tis but a matter of perception, but thanks glad you like it – I’m definitely more pleased with this than my last one.
