Northern Currumbin beach sunrise on the 22nd of August 2009. The pulsing of water through these sandy rocks drew me to this shot. The meaning of the title is up to your own interpretation.
3 blended exposures (EV -2, 0, +2) with a 450D and Sigma 10-20 at f/16 and ISO 100. Processed in Photomatix & Photoshop CS4.

The tones of the rocks against the sand drew me in first, the colours are just so rich and fresh. The crashing waves and the dark, rippled sky is the icing on the cake (even though cake is a horrific abomination)! A great end to a great series :)
Thanks again for your detailed analysis :D
