I love that still water, Jason! Stunning! 8 minutes!?!?!? ND400? f/22? How do you keep the shutter open for 8 minutes and not get blow outs???!

  • Cheers Mieke, hope you’ve been well! (I’ve been away from RB far too long). It’s only at f/11, but just with a whole bunch of ND, I’m thinking probably 14 or 15 stops or so :)

I’m with Mieke… how do you keep the shutter open that long.

  • Hi Tracie :) Basically just lots of ND filters! About 14 or 15 stops I think. :) Hope you’ve been well!

Stunning Jason. this gorgeous old jetty is 5 minutes from where I live and has been a favourite to photograph. I am sad to say that it only now has one board left. :(

  • Thanks Beth :) Yes I think it was you whom originally told me that on facebook, shortly after the bad weather early this year :( A shame, but I’m glad I had the chance to shoot it beforehand.
