Beautiful capture Jason, great close-up and clarity, beautiful creatures, hey Jason, do you have a zoo in your backyard Lol….you have some wonderful photo’s in your portfolio.

  • Jason Asher replied

Josie, thank you again for your encouraging comments!

Not quite a Zoo, my last couple of shots are are from a wildlife sanctuary.. so unfortunately I’m not some crazed David Attenborough worshipper trudging through forests to find guys like this.. as much as I’d like to let on! ..haha.

Also I’m lucky enough to have a very open back veranda to my house, which overlooks an open golf course so we can plenty of bird visitors around the back railing and roof guttering.. the tricky part is trying to shoot them without the railing or house in the background.

    Thank you again Josie!

LOVE this as I have an iggy at home myself!

but do you have a kimodo dragon or bearded dragon? For dragon’s fire, those are the only lizard let in because they are dragons, tho I know iggys look more like dragons, and act like them too! LOL

  • Jason Asher replied

I wish I had my own Iguana, cool creatures. Sorry about the mis-submission, that’s the 2nd failing I’ve had with submitting this image to groups. Anyway thanks Patricia!

An incredibly bright lizard, great framing and capture ! Amazing that it could be that crisp hand held at 1/25 second !

  • Jason Asher replied

Thanks again mate, yeah I wasn’t too sure about it – I took a couple of shots at iso 800 with a higher shutter aswell just incase, but this one turned out fine and of course with less noise.
