Not Alone, Just Lonely

Not Alone, Just Lonely by Martin Hampson

Not Alone, Just Lonely

I like how nature so often emulates your real emotions and feelings.

This shell appears to be all alone even though we all know there would be hundreds of other shells on the same beach.

Just like my feelings now, I know I have a lot of friends and family that care for me so I am certainly not ‘alone’.... and yet without having that ‘special person’ in my life I still feel lonely.

Not alone, just lonely.

So true, and so beautifully captured.

What a beautiful macro. Simple and yet, powerful in its meaning. This is an instant favorite for me. Wonderful work.
