Red Gum Grave yard
A sad site of river Red Gums that died many years ago from wet feet as they made this area a salt inception area- as I walked through with fellow photographer and mentor Steve chapple I couldn’t help but have the feeling of sadness – this area must have been beautiful at one stage – the amount of old beer bottles buried in the mud a silent testament to what must have been a popular picnic destination in its heyday.

Thanks for the comments Di – dont worry about that area too much -sometimes we have to sacrifice a little to save a lot. The area has been like that for many years – guessing 30+ at least
