A half days riding out of Antofagasta (uphill most of the way) I parked my bicycle and sat down for lunch. I wanted a vehicle to add scale to the vista. A red truck approached. I composed the image and waited… Damn I hadn’t wound the film on. Twenty minutes later another truck approached… click.
The Andes mountains in the background are immense but the lack of trees or landmarks and the crystal clear air makes it very hard to judge their scale.

beautiful cloud. The truck really add extra effect to the image.
Nice shot. The contrast in the mountains is great!
What an amazing sky. Typical Atacaman scenery – gorgeous – well done getting the truck in too!
I love that! The composition is great, there are lots of really cool things going on in that shot
The wandering clouds add so much depth to this image – without them it just wouldn’t be quite the same! Beautiful soft tones and glad you included the truck to give us a sense of scale!
