saw this ballon too, and the mooooooon, outside on the way to work.

crazy to think this reasonably unique moment in time only happened about half an hour ago, and now it’s on the internet being commented on by scott d’almeida.

viewing large makes it a little more impressive, but then everyone says that…..

australia, blue, bush, haha you said bush, hot air ballon, melbourne, onetonshadow, sky

Great shot!! Must be a huge balloon… its bigger than our moon :D

The balloon is actually smaller, but much closer georgiegirl. The moon is in fact three times the size of that balloon, and to my mind is an even more fertile advertising space that a bit of inflated canvas strapped to a basket. Not that I’d want our favourite satellite pimping Moet, of course. Just imagine, people deciding to go fishing because it’s 4AM on a full logo. Couples doing some sort of occult family planning based on how much of Coca Cola’s dynamic ribbon is present in the night sky. It would be madness I tell you. I think what we see here in this photo is a regular balloon of average size for its type.

  • bosh, grant ‘factometer’ bissett strikes again. the world is better off.

Nothing terrifying about this, unless of course the balloon pops and the basket breaks. Cool shot.
