double exposed medium format shot of the balls outside the anish kapoor exhibition i dropped into last year in londinium.
that was quite a long sentence.
cross processed of course, why leave anything to chance.
120, holga, medium format, onetonshadow
Hello, I have no idea what I am doing.
saw the balls a couple of months ago, very impressive but they didn’t look nearly as good as this
my balls are better, you might say.
An amazing artist….you’ve made his work seem even more interesting!
cross processed mmh? one day you might actually try and let the magic do it!Not saying that this shot isn’t great, but I’m sure you’d enjoy Holga’s natural beauty too. That reminds me I should do more cross processing!
the thing is i quite enjoy the holga for the total unpredictability, so x-processing just helps add to the unknown clusterfuck of a process. i also like to leave films on the dashboard of a car on a hot day or freeze them in a bowl of water. I want to make it tough for the film.
Pretty wild image, just love the feel here!
i even have rolls that are over 10 years old and have yet to process. i wonder if i’ll ever get to them and if they even survive it with the weather they have had to content with. hehehethis piece has such excitement when viewing it. ;-)
woah there, 10 years, that’ll look like a mushroom field.
Fantastic! …makes me what it was? …sculpture or a statue with shiny balls of sorts? do they still sell that format of film???
It was called The Tall tree and The Eye and yes, the film is Kodak E100, cross processed. Readily available from all good film shops. Or the internet.
this blows my mind!
