Memory feeds imagination by onetonshadow

Something a bit different. Drew this from an image in an album booklet by Dusted, a very long time ago. Don’t like the album much but quite liked the art, not altogether sure how the copyright gubbins works on this. So it isn’t for sale, but I’m sure Jo and Hop will tell me pretty quickly. It’s an old scan, forgot to spray fixative on the sketch and the original sort of blurred out of existence.

Hello, I have no idea what I am doing.

You should spray it now, before it fades and smudges more! It’s a fantastic drawing. You talented thing you!!!!

  • It’s already buggered, I scanned this ages ago.

somewhere in the darkness there is a tiny shimmers of light. This light holds nothing but hope for those that find it, for hope is all that it will favour. The light shares no heat and it’s shadow is small but it will attract because it is light. Hidden just outside of the lights reach , hidden in the shadow lurks those that we can’t imagine, even when we think of our deepest fears and nightmares they transcend our imagination because our imagination and nature in general will never be as horrific as those that stay just beyond the light. One day I will find hope and step beyond the shadow and find what my mind is too primitive to comprehend and with hope discover that it is not something to fear but something to embrace.

  • Well that’s quite lovely. And I can recommend a career as a Psychonaut to speed the process up. And it’s certainly not to be feared.

I’m still trying to find the ‘s’ and more different ‘s’. I think your skills are more at a par with Strongsad’s – would like me to burninate for you ?

this is brilliant, these monsters are from a book that i know of called Safe From Harm by Rollo Armstrong , i could recognize them immediatly, very skilled!

  • Yes, I think. I had an album by Dusted, who I think is Rollo Armstrong from Faithless. It was called When We Were Young had no idea there was a book too. These guys were inside.
I have no idea what I did with the album.
