The Weird Life Of An Animator

Here
are
some
behind
the
scenes
shots
for all of you who care.

It’s in relation to The Great Christmas Mince Pie and Plasticine Experiment.

Santa has a big silver Christmas bauble inside him. Is that interesting?

Eddy m’Dear, I care (Insert internet symbol for giving a shit here)

When I grow up, I want to be Gumby. Or a bauble stuffed santa. You are a talented boy with an awesome record collection. Just add butter.

Thanks for sharing these, I really enjoy seeing the process. I marvel too at how you get those plasticine bricks looking so perfect. You must have a very steady hand.
What’s in the presents under the tree?

a record collection is not a collection when the majority whistle, beep or fart and the main purpose is to drag a needle backwards over them.
There hasn’t been any good vinyl since 10mm acetates went out of fashion.
    But I regress
Do you destroy the sets and models after use?
    Do you film it?
    Can you make plasticine porn?
    just curious.

    Firstly, shut up.
Secondly, I do destroy the sets, I have a photo actually, that I may post later.
Thirdly, I once wrote a series of shorts with a mate for some comedy plasticine porn, he thought it would be quite lucrative, I thought it would take about 30 years to make.

What a stonking great animation this is. Very enjoyable stuff, I love it when santa cops it sweet (the stupid fat red suit wearing tosser).

Who was your architect and interior stylist for the set?

I thought it would take about 30 years to make.

But geez, they’d be fun years … wouldn’t the colours get all mixed up??

Again, I marvel at your collective genius.

Valium works a little better, eggnog makes steady hands a little tricky. Although if you look closely you can see where I broke the house in half during filming.
