Irreversible was the first thing to come to mind for me too – though I made myself sit through it to the end. Was worthwhile from a cinema appreciation perspective, though I’m not sure I’d watch it again.
The image above is a good likeness. There’s a similar one in Madrid.

It’s not the sort of thing easily washed from the neurons, in fact, judging by the response I don’t think anyone forgot it. I’m sure the filmmaker is quite pleased with himself.
Oddly, I must have had my ‘make this look like the scene of a crime’ filter on, because it didn’t really look like this at all.
