So I had this wonderful hanging planter designed by Charles Murphey in 1955 for the Red Wing pottery company and I had finished using it in the photos I had wanted to take, I thought it would be perfect in Mark and Cathy’s pink and yellow bathroom to get some of the Tillandsias off the towel rack above the bath tub…there was even an unused hook in the ceiling from a previous owner. They have wonderful lighting from a skylight.

Mark got the chain and hung it and then Cathy got new Tillandsias to put in it.
Oh well…

The story doesn’t end there. Even more were purchased and I do have to admit it now looks fantastic with 3 of the same as the 12" long one in bloom on the left.

My thoughts, art is to enjoy…to capture the moment or to process the idea.
I started with a pocket Canon Elph usually with an armful or 2 of groceries,
I’ve upgraded and now use a Canon EOS 70D and Photoshop Elements along with Picasa.
My aim is to make you smile. Come back often, there’s always something new.
