The Man with the X-Ray Eyes.
The classic tale of science gone wrong, wrapped up in a B-Movie.
Who can forget the immortal line at the end: ‘If thine eye offends thee, pluck it out’.
Ray Miland at his best—either this or Dial M for Murder.
Certainly better than all those times he appeared in Columbo as an incompetent killer.

kinda scary and unsettling in many ways… but art should be able to introduce such feelings.. its cold… and that not just because of these shades of blue. great piece
oneillstudios, 2 months ago
Thanks for the view RS. I suppose it is unsettling. The film itself is highly unsettling, especially the end. It is also unforgettable. I don’t know if you have seen it, probably you have. There are some clips of it on Youtube.

Never Ray Milland has been so desagreable than in this film..
And the image of his eyes…. dillatated and turned into a “vicious” black.. crept into my heart with awe …
You have made a very good work… Some may not perceive theese eyes behind the known shapes of the x.rayed hands.
Think about people in other times… when they had not seen anything like this… what a frightening vision….A power….a devilish accomplishment.
We love to know… to see… but..
Are we prepared for seeing “All”.... for knowing “All”...?
This energy of the Knowledge has to be received in doses…. as one should feed an starved or almost dead by thirst man….. little by little.
Rosa
oneillstudios in reply to RosaCobos’s comment, about 1 month ago
Yes, I think so it seems that, the
‘x-ray eyes’ is a symbol for the thirst for hidden knowledge and its reception at too fast a pace-ultimately it leads to blindness and destruction. The film can be interpreted in so many ways.
