Hello—name is Rob. I am a teacher, I have worked in London, Istanbul, Switzerland and now I am back in Scotland.
Amongst other things, I have worked in the art-print-framing business for almost six years for the Art Group and other companies. I also worked freelance for a few years doing illustration work in Corel Draw, while completing my studies in Theology.
While working as a teacher, I have taught art over the years (often on an ad hoc basis) both traditional and digital—the usual, Photoshop, Painter and some 3D.
Recently, I have introducing pencil drawing techniques (students aged 11-15) and painting techniques (students aged 11-13)—essentially substituting acrylic for oil.
I have also has small video/film setup going, in which I have produced several short films of about 40 mins duration. I have also filmed some live shows and short dramas etc.
I have loaded up a few stills from the movies.
Just recently moved back to Scotland. Fortunately just down the road is Dalgety Bay Art Club.
I have joined up and hope to do a lot more painting for myself
