Finding Meaning
I am finding meaning in today, in where my life is right now. I may not be changing the world or feeding the hungry, but I am enjoying a warm cup of tea, smiling at the view from my window—the fall colors painted across the trees. I am loving my husband, and keeping in touch with friends, I am being thankful, and I am doing all those things as if they are all significant.
Today, in my paintings, I just painted what made me happy, stripes, polka dots, and flowers. I found such simple joy in the act.
I am happy. Today is full of meaning.
