    WOW! the light gives the expression a dramatic twist!!! It must have been natural light from a window… wasn’t it! GREAT shot!

    Thankyou. :) It was actually on-camera flash (the built in one) reflected into a mixing bowl and then back at my cousin. I looked really odd holding a camera in one hand and a mixing bowl in the other! :P

    i love freckles :) She is beautiful …............and i have never heard of the mixing bowl trick so i shall try that on for size some time…..tee hee

    Thanks. :) Haha, it was one of those random “let’s see if this works” moments, way before I had actual studio lights. It doesn’t work too badly! :P

    Thanks. :) I held it to the left of my camera, pointed at my cousin. I had some foil curved around the flash, pointing back into the mixing bowl, so the flash fired, it reflected off the foil into the mixing bowl and then at my cousin. :) [Explaining it seems really complicated, haha.]
