The flame, it burns ever so bright.
It shines so strong when there is absence of light.
Feed the flame and it continues to grow.
Watch the dancing red-orange glow.
It spreads, sways and moves with speed.
It consumes all it contacts with thirst and greed.
Flames so beautiful illuminate the night.
They rush through the air like a bird takes flight.
The burns it inflicts leave behind dark ash.
The flame gives birth as it engulfs and grasps.
It knows not right from wrong as does a young child.
Now watch the flame as it continues to run wild.
