The Devil's Tree by Omar Dakhane

Greeting Cards & Postcards

Available to buy on…

It is said that in a withered waste
Stands a tree twisted, rotted, in chain encased.
There it has stood since the world was young,
And of it dark tales are whispered and sung.
For in the tree gapes a great hollow
Which to look upon, all hope it would swallow.

Yet should some fool come with curious mind,
Naught but evil things will he find.
For there in that very lightless slit,
Dwell horrors come up from the unholy Pit.
And meeting them he will give up a terrified yell.
That tree is said to be the very gate to Hell.
