Eurocopter AS355 Ecureuil 2 - F1 Twin Squirrel by 


The Eurocopter AS355 Ecureuil 2 (F1 Twin Squirrel) is a twin-engine light helicopter originally manufactured by Aérospatiale (now part of Eurocopter Group). This is a private charter helicopter taken at Audley End Airfield. Pilot is awaiting the return of his businessman customer. On 22nd. October 1996, Chelsea Football Club Vice Chairman Matthew Harding together with five companions were killed when this AS355 F1 Twin Squirrel, registration G-CFLT, crashed near Middlewich, Cheshire in bad weather conditions. Apparently the pilot had said he didn’t want to do the trip but the customers had insisted, according to the Air Accident Investigators report.

    Great angle (every attempt i have at a helicopter, i chop the rotors off!). Eurocopters are the best
