the sky is a firefly dancing on my fingertips

How long can this last?
Bathing in the fire glow
How long can I bathe in the afterglow?
Held safe and warm in arms
Strong but gentle
Crackle and spark fire
Laughter and love people
And the smoke that stays in your woollen jumper
Did you notice the smoke in mine?
The natural crunch
Gravel Crunch
Stones beneath our feet
And grass and sticks
To add to the flame
How long until our fuel runs out?
Nature wide mysterious
But I feel no fear
The moon is out
But it is second best
To the safety of our dome of light
Our little glow
Our Firelight

the sky is a firefly dancing on my fingertips
