reference used: Brian Froud’s lady cottongton’s pressed fairy calendar. the fairy is based on the image in the calendar, and the pen-stuff is from my imagination.

I’ve noticed that too that the colors are faded out when uploaded to RB don’t know why that happens…

yeah…but this one got TOTALLY messed up. The colors are not even close to the image I am uploading :(

many told me that when printed, the color will be much brighter.. i find it odd, cos if that is the case, why do the mute the preview colors then? by muting, it’ll turn off buyers who love bright colors or cheat buyers who love muted colors.. sigh.. =(

i kind of got around the problem by taking a picture of the drawing with my camera and using that image instead of the scanned one. It’s so weird – even when scanned, the image looked alright, but when uploaded, looked faded.
