Artist's Description

This Koala was quiet amused by the group of people jostling for position to get his/her photo.

Koala’s (Phascolarctos cinereus ) commonly known outside of Australia as Koala Bears are not bears, they are marsupials and their closest relative is the wombat.
They can grow to 70 – 90cm, Koalas weigh between four and 14 kilograms depending on their sex and can live for 12 to 16 years in the wild.
