My Nemesis by OldBirch

…Oh man! It was Brian Carey, the very talented landscape photographer, in MY territory. My heart sunk. Any shot I took would pale in comparison. So I gave up and took the one shot that he could never take…

And yes, he was as close to the water as it looks. Just think, one little shove…but I would never do that to his camera.

Beautiful light on him, OB, and dramatic, with all that swirling water. Tempting. I understand. Nice of you to consider his camera. Love this portrait!

  • Thanks, Jan. Tempting, indeed. Another great word to use in this case!

Actually, OB, you should think about taking up portrait photography. If you can make Brian look like that, you definitely have talent !!! (Sorry Brian !!)

  • Stan, I knew I could count on you! Good one!

I think we should put in a good word for that sturdy and acrobatic tripod. Manfrotto?

  • Yeah, it’s his favourite tripod. Another good reason not to shove him in.
