Kids with Art talent are not crazy

So I noticed that where I work there are some psychiatrist 3 to be exact and most of them have art by the children wich they brain wash and most of them are pretty good and colorfull like sponge bob etc and it got me thinking that kids with busy minds just tend to be artists since I had a bussy mind myself as a child but I think it’s not neccesary taking a poor kid to a pshych I think it’s very important if you as a parent have time to spend more of it with the child like taking him to the park etc or doing simple activities wich they enjoy I don’t belive is fully necessary to take a young mind to the loony doctor just because he is hyper active I’d say have im join some art clases!

what do you think?

I think we are quick to put labels on children these days. Our mind forms itself quite young, I remember always being affected by over thought, anxiety, depression from an early age- these days I’d probably be off to the shrink- and whilst I’m not against therapy, I’m glad I chanelled those things into art, books, fashion, rebellion etc and didnt end up with a label- labels to me are damaging :))))
BTW I worked with a boy in children care, who was “labelled” a trouble maker at school, was dyslexic and found it hard to manage anger- I dicovered he could draw. I encouraged it, helped him in my day to day. We went to art college (after being written off by teachers)- Proof in the pudding ??
Thanks for posting- As a childcare manager, its a subject close to my heart :))))

I am glad that you agree at some level, some kids do need theraphy like the ones that have gone trough worser things but not the ones that have a troubled mind, I could never focus on studies specially in math and failed other classes but I always draw and still to this day, it’s great that you as child manager encouraged art into a child my teacher did that and it helped me belive in myself.
