I remember those days of living a life I thought I deserved. Thanks for sharing bud ;)

  • Thank you so much. Those days do come around every so often, it seems. Glad you like the piece.

unlike the first incarnation, this is heartbreaking.
a beautiful and thought-provoking piece. but it makes my heart ache.

  • This incarnation is closer to what I initially wanted for the piece. It is an altered photo of the real thing which remains, painfully and purposefully, always close at hand. I think I wanted to recreate the piece than simply share that original. I felt it was important to hold something back, to keep something for myself. I makes my heart ache too, but I guess that’s my point, for me anyway. It is intended to partner The Road to Self-Destruction and In My Entirety as part of an introspecive series with the latter being one of my most personal and honest pieces to date. Thank you, Lee, for your important and appreciated comment. I like that you like it.
