Beautiful tribute to a family member! I can relate……I lost mine Dec.19th,2012! A friend and companion since 1999!
It is really hard. Okie was only 4 years old. We lost him to Rocky Mountain Tick Fever. It was hard, but he’s in a better place now :) Thank you

Dear Kristen, I am so so sorry to hear of Okie’s passing, I know the heartbreak, I know they live within our hearts forever, but damn its so hard to get to that point when you can smile just remembering…hugs to you and your family

Okie is a beautiful dog and this is a lovely tribute to your friend and companion. I used to have a big orange kitty from Oklahoma named Okie that I just thought the world of. It is so hard to lose a pet, and l also look forward to that wonderful day when we will be re-united, never to part again!
