Nature's Genius Through Imperfection by

A few roses, a spray bottle, and my trusty 24mm Macro. I shot this during the late afternoon after the sun had thrown a shadow across the backyard. I wanted to get the effect of the sun glinting off just a small piece of the rose on the right and hopefully turn those little water drops into jewels. sadly, the sun did not want to cooperate, so i slunk back to the shadows and pulled out my trusty led keychain light to try and accomplish the effect. kind of worked (a little.)

Very cool shot. I agree that sometimes we have to do things we normally wouldn’t do to get that shot. :)
