Tell you about myself… Well I cant say it will be an interesting summary, but here goes!!
I guess I will start with the reason I am here- I have enjoyed photography for a while, but for a long time did not take many photos… It was only really when I got my first digital, a few years ago, that I started experimenting and learning what makes a good photo. I have photos from the early days that I still really like, but they were probably lucky occurences! I have just recently gotten a Nikon D90, which is possibly one of the most exciting things that I have bought! It also takes beautiful photos, which makes my job a lot easier!! I try to use it as manually as I can, but too often I am lazy and let it do the focusing and decide the shutter speed! I used to mainly take macros of flowers, but at the moment I am trying to diversify a little. One of the things I would love to do at some point is get up early enough for a sunrise on a beautiful misty winter morning. However, I think that will have to wait till I get my own transport as Im not getting up early enough to walk to somewhere photogenic enough as well as take the photos!!
Other than photography, my main interest is sailing :) having just moved from an RS Feva, to a 29er, we have a lot to learn, but its an awesome boat, so I cant wait to get good in it!!
Hopefully I wont be too lazy to upload new photos every now and again, and that you enjoy my portfolio!
