Mutated Cover Art I was Doing For an old NZ band
The label got busy and the project got shelved so i withdrew my design and am using it for a few shirts..
Hope you enjoy the details, the theme is fashion, anti establishment angst, music and riot… (which is almost the name of the band :P )
I took out a few New Zealand references to make it more universal… eg burning ‘Bee Hive’ building (our government building)
I will make a up a few more on different colours and different content…

oh it was done at work in between jobs mixed media really mainly alot of vector making and photoshop layered to the max…some doodling etc this was mainly all done on comp, usually i liek to mix it up a little with drawing etc…
The cd design version is slightly cooler as i couldn’t get the cool layeredness of it coss it had alot of transparent layers and effects so had to keep it on its red square b/g (long story)

yeah… we are way over populated with G/D here (in Christchurch New Zealand) we basically get crap pay etc… we look over the ditch at perth and “melbourne town” and see they get payer 3 times as much and are in DEMAND and think…

well here in SA ive heard its much the same – an overabundance of GD’s.
im just jelous you can do this sort of thing at work, id be hard pressed to drive a forklift and draw..
