    As much as I like the image, why place the horizon in the middle? The ambivalence about what is the primary subject is a distraction.

    I might offer a distinction that as a gross generality, most find the reflections to be a smiggin’ more interesting than the actual objects. Based on that, I’d tend to swallow hard and crop some off the top to give emphasis to the reflection.

    Thats a fair call Zane, I have got another shot where the horizon is not in the centre of the photo and I will upload that pic at some stage, the main reason I uploaded this one is because this one is my personal favourite. I never expect everyone to like all my photos but thats one of the great things about any sort of art form, everyone is going to have a different opinion.

    Love this shot, I personally am glad you placed the horizon in the centre, it completes this image, reflecting two peaks and that absolutely beautiful light. I miss NZ, your PF is very beautiful Paul :-)
