A fabules Urbex subject. This is part of an abandoned building in Belgium. It used to be a monestry, a hospital, at some point it was used as a prison and a militairy base.
It was built in 1817 and abandoned in 1988. And now parts are pretty dangerous to enter. Walls come down, and at some parts the roof has collapsed. On other parts its barely hanging on.

These buildings need some serious TLC.

I love this Nicole, it is sad that some came in and defaced the wall, but it actually it quite pretty. In a few weeks I am going to run a challenge in Weekly Themes Challenges and in Art and Photography Showcase on graffetti and street art. can I use this image of yours as an example in those two challenges?

  • By all means, Id be thrilled!
