This property was found in the Netherlands, abandoned after a big fire. It was a very old farmhouse and its a real shame to see it in this state. But you cant rebuilt age, this is just lost forever.

Just thought I’d visit this one just before I head off for bed…
It’s really spooky, but more than that it reflects a history of what happened and what the place was like before the fire.
Absolutely oozing with mood, with a touch of melancholy.
And yeah, spook :-)
Think I’ll take this to bed with me and pull the covers right up over my head :-))

Thank you, it took some ignoring of signs saying: keep out, danger area, no traspassing etc and I had to find my way through a large field of very high poison ivy and other prickly weeds, but it was worth it. Its sad to see a house burned down like this, the tv was still standing in another room, melted half way down, and a few personal things laying around, dirty and burned….second floor mostly gone…I hope I never have to go through that. (but if I did, id make pictures :-)
