This property was found in the Netherlands, abandoned after a big fire. It was a very old farmhouse and its a real shame to see it in this state. But you cant rebuilt age, this is just lost forever.

was born ages ago, lived uptill now and not gonna die anytime soon. And I did all this in the Netherlands.

    Just thought I’d visit this one just before I head off for bed…
    It’s really spooky, but more than that it reflects a history of what happened and what the place was like before the fire.
    Absolutely oozing with mood, with a touch of melancholy.
    And yeah, spook :-)
    Think I’ll take this to bed with me and pull the covers right up over my head :-))

  • Thank you, it took some ignoring of signs saying: keep out, danger area, no traspassing etc and I had to find my way through a large field of very high poison ivy and other prickly weeds, but it was worth it. Its sad to see a house burned down like this, the tv was still standing in another room, melted half way down, and a few personal things laying around, dirty and burned….second floor mostly gone…I hope I never have to go through that. (but if I did, id make pictures :-)
