was born ages ago, lived uptill now and not gonna die anytime soon. And I did all this in the Netherlands.
Do you know why it was abandoned?
It was a monastery, used as a nursinghome for older and disabled people. But apparently, they build a new and modern home for these people, and after they moved out, most of the complex was demolished. Only the chapel and one wing are still more or less intact, in an attempt to preserve some history. But they were seriously damaged. We didnt dare to go up to the second floor, several people fell hrough the floor, and one wooden staircase was about to fall over to the side. I am very sad to see this, but I am happy with having my photos before it goes down completly :-)

Thank you very much for the feature!
Glad you went through the fence to get in! Cool shot.
Actually I had to climb through an open window on the backside of the building, only to discover they left all the doors op in the front LOL
