I’d love to know more about this brilliant work – is that fog rolling in and is the main source of light a floodlight?

  • No, it’s not fog but it was very cloudy in that night, and the main source of light was the little village near, you can see a bit of it on the right side =)

do you ever have a problem with noise and hot spots at low light, my 400d’s sensor seems to be really noisey

  • hmmm there’s an option on the cam to reduce the noise, it takes longer to save the photo to the card but i think it’s worthy. This option only works in long exposures… You could also use low iso’s to prevent the noise ;)
Then you can also remove it in Photoshop or other program, i use Neat Image.
