Affordable Love
This building was far too good to pass up shooting, although I admit that I’m stumped as to it’s origins. It seems, very much, to be a relic of the ‘70s. I found it on a side road, North of Pittsburgh, between Route 19 and Route 279. It was in an empty lot with a broken down bull-dozer slumbering behind it. I can only imagine that it was some kind of romantic gift kiosk. Still, the irony between the juxtaposition of the name on the roof and the state of the structure and it’s surroundings are a rather compelling commentary…
