Red Vamp
I wanted to do a Gothic vamp type photo with a difference for a while. My aim was to still keep that dark mood that Gothic has been linked to, but I wanted to add colour to it rather than just have dire black. I wanted to add, red or green. I chose red as it is not only a bright happy colour, but it is also the colour of blood or in vamp cultures the colour of life. With Red Vamp I also hoped to capture a certain innocence that you normally don’t find in Gothic Vamp pictures. The innocence before one is turned so to speak.
