‘Chibi’ is a style of manga drawing where characters are highly stylised. Known as ‘super-deformation’ it usually involves characters being drawn with larger heads compared to their bodies, as well as the usual anime style of large eyes to the size of their heads. It is usually used for comedic effect, or in cartoons suited for younger audiences.
