OF Wine

Of Wine
Flowing crimson justified through fun
It fills body with warmth and emotion
Sitting with glass in hand
Talking laughing but not thinking
Festival is at foot granted by the red nectar of the gods
Of the vine it came, but designed by Dionysus
That which from mount Nysa where the art was brood
Fills body with warmth and emotion
Halls and streets filled with dithyramb
Carol lyric reverberated rebound and echoed
Light stepping, twirling, a dance for the creator of the nectar
Theater and plays art and emotion
The carnival of the mirthful beginnings
All origin to that of wine
Which fills body with warmth and emotion
The Liberator of one’s norm
Though madness ecstasy through the nectar
Looking down at the cup in hand
Reflection of the dancing lights in the red
The red aqueous drink flowing over you
Touch of hands touch of lips
Feet stepping swiftly through the stoned ground barely touching
What touches is the hand at the waist and the arm on the shoulder
One last sip and not you but everything swirls you smile
From the nectar filling body with warmth and emotion
