Rays of Light

Will you think of me under the moonlights gaze?
Softly lowering my hand to meet yours;
Feeling the strength of your touch on my cheek,
your breath on my neck.

Will you remember me in the haze of dawn?
Stretched out in cotton and silk,
entangling my legs with yours,
Determined that the Sun will not to raise,
Praying for time to stop and life to pause,
So we can be eternal.

Will you remember my smile?
My moans as you rise,
my sigh as you go leaving me satisfied and wanting.

I will remember.

As memories cannot be erased from souls
Cherished ones breathe life anew.
So, If the leaves fall or the sun raises on our union
I will remember
The feeling,
The life force and the joy.
All will be remembered.
