Spring brings out many different kinds of flowers in New Mexico. This bird of Paradise is found throughout New Mexico on the desert blooming in the spring and occasionally the rest of the year.
The only trouble is they come and go very fast – most of them only last part of one day. This was taken on my Canon Eos Rebel XTi and Tamron 28-300mm lens in Las Cruces,NM,USA
