I feel this is a a great study of a man with much character, showing his passion for the flute quite well.
A very good composition with good exposure, focus, tonal range and contrast presents this self portrait very nicely.

Lovely image, always wanted to learn to play the flute, I can get a lovely sound out of one, but haven’t a clue what the notes are!

Thank you for your comments Squealia. The flute is quite complex, what with the notes, fingering correct blowing and timing all at the same time. And once you have it, you must deep practicing ( hence the picture) or lose it!
